Wishing each of you a wonderful beginning to a new year ahead!  It has been such a wonderful opportunity to have been able to be involved in capturing so many of your memories from 2012!  THANK YOU!

Many opportunities lie ahead in the new year.  New babies, birthdays, holidays, graduations, events, just to name a FEW!!  If you are needing someone to capture your special moment,  I appreciate it when you contact me!

 

If I had to make a New Year's resolution it would be to try and do better at keeping up with the BLOG!  Seems like it just slides by....so here goes the first!

 

Valentine's day is coming!  It will be here before you know it!

If you need something 'special' for giving to relatives or just a fun thing to do with your kids, please contact me.  There are several times available the end of January!

 There are lots of things you can do from sending out a Valentine card to grandma and grandpa, or starting a tradition of 'holiday' images.  I have images of my kids from all major holidays framed and I love putting them out every year.  LOTS of precious memories!

Families ever changing, new experiences.....seniors getting ready to go off to college!

It 's been awhile since anything was posted on the 'blog'.....much to my displeasure, I had a

computer snafu and ended up having to have my computer wiped clean and start over.  Luckily, I had

everything backed up with Carbonite (I could be a commercial spokeswoman for them now!) and everything was restored to its original state! and I am one happy lady again!  Awesome!  Thank you

Carbonite for doing whatever you do in cyberspace that allowed me to regain my sanity!

Not to mention that I spent 12 weeks on crutches and in a walking boot.....I am off all of that and

happy, happy, happy to be taking pictures again!

This great 'winter' weather we have had has been wonderful for outdoor photos!  This little charmer

was a hoot to photograph!  Mr. Personality +!  What a sweetheart.....His Grammie and Pop

had bought this awesome peddle car for his birthday and he was loving it!

And we have added a new 'grand'son to the family....meet him below!

6lbs. 5 oz. born in Feb. to our middle son and daughter in law.....He's a doll

and we are absolutely wild about him.

This little guy was such a happy boy! and easy to photograph!  He had smiles for his mom and dad!

Doesn't seem like he should be 6 months old already!  It seems like we just took his newborns the other day!  Thanks M and M for letting me get to capture some of these priceless moments for you!

It's been a fairly frustrating last 6 weeks after having surgery to repair a non healing broken foot (that was broken 2 + years ago trying to jump over a sleeping dog on the stairs....but that's another story).  Midway through football season it was obvious that this wasn't going to heal and the Dr. WAS in fact right.....it needed to be fixed!  So, with 2 more weeks to go I am getting pretty antsy and have resumed picture taking!  Ok, so the Dr. doesn't need to read this blog!

What a treat to get an unexpected email this morning from K about the 2011 football season.  I have asked if I can post some of her comments!  It made my day!

"I wanted to thank you for the beautiful football album that the Booster Club presented to D.  The BEST gift!  It means so much....and will be a source of great memories for many years...I also knew I could look down at the sidelines and see you right in the middle of the action with camera in tow!  Your involvement in the football scene has afforded many to capture the boys' sports moments that we could not do on our own!  J's album that I put together as his senior gift still sits in the family room.  Over the holidays, when his old football group gathers, someone will pick it up to take a look, because they're all in it! ...

Thank you, K for such kind words!  I appreciate them very much!  It has been a privilege to be on the sidelines for about 12  years now!  I wondered how hard it would be after our youngest graduated to be one the sidelines, but it's actually more fun now because I'm not trying to watch him AND take action shots!
